The Story Cauldron is a collaborative storytelling framework. It does not use dice. It has no stats, levels, or traditional GM. It has six traits, eighteen spoons, one cauldron, and a central question: how will you spend your energy?
It is a small game. The core ruleset takes less than two thousand words to explain. What it says in those words carries the full weight of the design philosophy — not as theory, but as mechanics that communicate meaning through play.
The system is for a specific audience and makes no apology for this. It was made by and for people who want to tell emotional, collaborative stories with care and attention, in a system that trusts them to find what is there.
The Core Rules are the place to start. The World Builder section addresses the optional facilitation role. The Philosophy page is the why behind all of it.
